Gus Hansen Eliminated in 23rd Place ($50,000 AUD)
Sorry ladies (and probably even a few men); Gus Hansen has been eliminated from the main event.
Hansen was knocked down to 50,000 in chips after getting it all in with pocket nines against an opponent's Q♠J♠ on an 8♥4♠5♠ board. Gus' opponent turned a jack to steal the pot, leaving him short stacked.
A few hands later, he got it all in holding K2o from the small blind and Tyron Krost woke up to pocket nines in the big.
The ensuing board ran out J88TA and Krost's nines held up to send the Team Full Tilter home in 23rd place.

Hvor er jeg bare f ing ærgelig på hans vegne. Havde håbet han ville gå hele vejen denne gang !

Ja, han var også selv MAX motiveret og målrettet. Men han får sgu nok snart en ny chance for at gå dybt. Det virker som om han har ændret lidt taktik og motivation til div. tuneringer.
